Poetry Experiment : The Final Goodbye

I’ve decided that I am going to write a poem a week, and draw my inspiration from a random picture generator. Let’s see what inspiration will come my way.

I am using the generator on : WritingExercises.co.uk .

The heartache is too much,

this is it, I’ve had enough.

How can I continue on like this?

So many years and fond memories,

I don’t want to let go.

There my beloved lays, peacefully.

Out here matches my misery.

I’m not ready, but I must.

My loves in a better place,

take a deep breathe,

walk through those doors.

This is the final farewell,

Until we meet again.
