I’ve known from a very young age that the path of becoming a writer was the one for me. I have a fondness for the written word and how you take a few simple letters and paint a beautiful picture for readers.
Sometimes my own words do not bring my thoughts and ideas justice, but there are quotes that seem to be able to sum up my feelings. Sometimes all it takes is another perspective, a different wordsmith.
This is one of those resonating quotes :
“Who wants to become a writer? And why? Because it’s the answer to everything. … It’s the streaming reason for living. To note, to pin down, to build up, to create, to be astonished at nothing, to cherish the oddities, to let nothing go down the drain, to make something, to make a great flower out of life, even if it’s a cactus.” —Enid Bagnold.
