Poetry Experiment: Weary Delay

Worn away by the sands of time,

forgotten  by the outside world,

left to decay back into the earth.

There is no recourse for the memories,

that clenched the soul so deep,

they die within the idle mind,

interrupted with no pity,

these are the actions we seek.

Confusion and delusion,

go hand in hand, there is no delay.

In this land of cornered thoughts,

an weathered heart beats,

trying to hold on to today.
